Conserving Natural Resources

 Conserving Resources

The population of humans has grown tremendously in this last two centuries. Billions of people take up resources rapidly as they consume food, build homes, make commodities, and consume fuel for transport and energy. Conserving resources is much more than just preserving Earth’s natural beauty. We must conserve our natural resources to ensure that we continue to live in our environment with respect. We must also conserve our natural resources to ensure that they are used responsibly and in a sustainable manner. If we do not use them wisely, then they will be depleted and will eventually become extinct.

There are many ways in which we can help in the conservation of nature. Here are some of those that can be easily done and can make a huge difference:

1)    Restrict Usage of Water

As we already know how precious water is and despite having a lot of it on our planet only a little part of it is available in naturally fresh and usable form. Turn off the tap while brushing your teeth, limit the number of showers, use the waste RO water to water the plants or clean the house so as to ensure less wastage of water.

2)    Limit Usage of Electricity

Limiting the usage of electricity is also essential for the conservation of nature. Simple things such as turning off the electric appliances when they are not in use and switching to energy saving lights, such as LED lights, to save electricity can help us ensure betterment in this field.

3)    Plant Trees and Grow Vegetables

It is advised to plant as many trees as possible to make up for those that are cut each day. Also grow vegetables at home to lessen the usage of chemical fertilizers used in farming.

Besides these, people can do their little bit by limiting the usage of paper, taking up rain water harvesting system, decreasing usage of cars and last but not the least by spreading awareness about the conservation of nature and its resources.
